Doing Good
We are a non-profit social enterprise so, when you buy from us, at least 60% of the profits are donated to partners and community projects that make your world better; the rest is invested in the business so we can do more good - no 'fat cat' shareholders here!
Our 5 Rs
A better way to use our resources
Most people will tell you about the 3Rs but we think that their approach is wrong – they want you to think about the waste you produce but the real, and far bigger, problem happens long before you walk to your bin.
Every kilo of 'stuff' we buy uses about 8½ kilos of the Earth's resources, and most of this extra material becomes polluting waste; and, as if that's not bad enough, some precious metals we need may even run out by 2030 (Cohen, 2007)
Sustainable living starts before the purchase, before the Earth is ruined, humans exploited, animals harmed, and bribes paid – it starts with us not placing that order – using less, means less waste.

2. Rethink...
Choose alternatives that waste fewer resources, like rechargeable batteries.
3. Reduce...
Conserve resources – water, energy, and environments that recycle them for free.
4. Reuse...
Service, repair, upgrade, or give/swap with someone who can use it.
5. Recycle...
A last resort, where materials are recovered not wasted.
